PEOPLE’S OUTDOOR GALLERY ARTIST CALL OUT
Artist Opportunity
The People’s Outdoor Gallery will display 10 artworks outside the front entrance of the Heywood Civic Centre. The artworks will be mounted on temporary hoardings, which provides the following dimensions for artworks to be displayed: 1,220 mm x 2,440mm (vertical).
The Culture Coop will work with a local community panel in Heywood to review applications from artists who have submitted their artworks for the People’s Outdoor Gallery exhibition. The Culture Coop and the panel of residents will be collaborating in the selection of art works by considering any complimenting and contrasting running themes between the works submitted, and work to curate a considered exhibition that resonates with Heywood or brings something new to the area.
The People’s Outdoor Gallery will exhibit work for a minimum of six months.
Each artist is welcomed to submit a maximum of 2 artworks for the selection panel to select from. The final designs from the chosen artworks will be provided print ready in PDF /AI/EPS FILE format by 29th April 2024. The design will then be reproduced and placed onto the site hoardings in vinyl.
